The Best Things in Life are Free...

Food and transport in London may be expensive, but it's free to visit most museums here! Last Friday, we visited the Victoria and Albert Museum (or more commonly known as the V&A), an art museum that houses beautiful paintings and sculptures.

Here we have the reception. Look at this huge green and blue glass ornament that looks like a chandelier that hangs from above.

Looks like tentacles or creepers, depends on how you see it.

There are too many halls and we didn't have enough time to visit every single one of them.. Anyway here are random pictures we took:

There was this special exhibition called "Fantasy and Fear". Some of the pieces were really camp. To prove the point further, they took a quote from Susan Sontag's "Notes on Camp" as a writeups for one of the exhibits. The whole thing was really well curated. We managed to sneak a couple of shots but this was the only one that turned out well. Isn't this pretty?

And I deliberately snapped a shot of Yang before he could do his "say-cheese" smile.

And he took one of me.

Our next stop? The Natural Museum!

This was taken when the museum had already closed. But it's like one of those castles from your period films. We will defintely visit it soon.

With the beauty of London captured in still camera and not seen with eyes to experience the feel of the city...it makes me want to visit the city
