Last month, I saw this exhibit of a Qing Dynasty warrior armour suit at the Glasgow Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. What caught my attention was not really the suit--there was nothing spectacular about it--but its amusing caption instead:
"Wearing an armour suit does not mean one is a warrior. Looking like one who has gone to battle is more important than having fought one."
