Fluffy Feathers

A few weeks ago, it started to snow a little when I was walking from Euston Square station to SOAS for a research seminar. I thought it'd stop, but it became quite heavy, just when I was in the midst of my presentation! I could see huge snow flakes flying all over from the side of my eyes but I just couldn't stop in the middle of my speech to admire the scenery. It does not help when my classmates were seated facing the window. Worse still, when my seminar ended, all the snow had melted and disappeared. What a shame.

The most wonderful thing happened when I returned to London from my winter break. It started snowing again, more heavily than ever.

Once again, a view of our backyard to show the intensity of the snowfall. The snow flakes looked like fluffy feathers.

We went to Golders Green to run some errands, only to be greeted by breathtaking scenery.

Someone is obviously happy and amazed.

We found this snowman with a traffic cone for a hat.

It is one of those times when you feel like rolling on the snow like a crazy little boy....erm.. I guess sitting on it is fine for now.

Sometimes, the snow reminded us of little sheep grazing on the fields.

Blueberries!

I don't know what berries are these... but I'd rather admire their beauty than use them as toppings for my chocolate ice-cream.

A classmate just messaged me:

"Can I just share with you how BORED I am with essays?! - thanks. How's Singapore, beautiful and warm? Are you having a lovely time? Please eat a coconut in the sunshine for me, it would make me happy."

I'm happy. It's like fluffy feathers.
